Can a downloaded game be played on two Xboxes at the same time?

I set my Xbox at work as my "Home Xbox" so that my colleagues can play my games as well. What I'm wondering is that if my colleague is playing a game (say Destiny) I purchased on my Xbox at work on her account, can I play Destiny at the same time on my Xbox
at home? Or will she need to purchase Destiny as well?

Can live gold be split between accounts on the same console?

Can the game downloaded to one account be played on the other on the same console?

Can you create two profiles in the same account?

game is downloaded to can be played with the gamertag license.

 

From my understanding of the system, someone will be able to play the game on another console so long as that console is marked as the Home console but cannot be played on two different consoles at the same time.

However, I've not heard of anyone trying this so am unsure as to if that is the norm or not. If you decide to try this then please post back on whether it works or not.

 

The games can be played on both consoles at the same time and even together or against each other as long as different gamertags / accounts are used.

But having your console at work set up as home console may be interpreted as being against the ToU and CoC.

I don't see it anywhere that my "Home Xbox" needs to be the one that's in my home (support.xbox.com/.../my-home-Xbox), but if you do know the EULA says otherwise, I'd
appreciate you pointing it out.

 

This won't work.

Only one instance of Destiny (or any game) can be played at a time.

If your colleague plays and you get home and start playing, it will kick your colleague out of game.

This is a security feature as if it didn't exist, you could just put your Xbox One profile on a bunch of consoles and let groups of people play with one copy of the game.

Your colleague would have to purchase the game too. If they buy the digital version there will be no download as it is already on the console.

I have two Xbox One's in my household. One is mine and one is my wife's. Her profile is on both consoles and my profile is just on my own console. I can't play her game on my console while she is playing it on hers.

Apps like Amazon etc can be run simultaneously though.

 

If you set your console as her home console you would be able to because she then does not need to be logged in on hers. I know of two couples doing exactly this without any problems.

The security feature you are talking of is that you cannot be logged in on two consoles at a time.
