Can a child/teen make a thread here?

Hello... this is not my actual account, but rather an adult account I had to use to post a thread here in the forum. Every time I try to log in with my main account, which is set to a birth date of a teen, I get redirected to

this, and it annoys me every single time. So I'm wondering if this is a forum that only adults can make? Because I want to ask about an issue that I'm currently having and I can't seem to make it without having to switch to an adult account first.

I can't seem to find a particular category for this issue though, so correct me if I'm wrong.

Redeeming vouchers child account

Hello,

I have redeemed a voucher on my child's account who has created an Xbox account. However, when my child tries to make a purchase of a DVD, we get an error saying child/teens cannot make purchases.

How can I resolve this?

Xbox Music - Can't purchase on child or teen account???

On my Surface Pro, I tried to buy a album on Xbox Music. However, it says that I can't because I'm on a child/teen account. However, in my settings it allows me to make purchases. So, how do I make Xbox Music recognize that I can purchase music?

From what I read on your main post, you were saying that the account is 13+. That means the account is not an adult but it is a teen account. Have you tried an adult account with Roblox to see if that makes a difference?

You can still manage the privacy and online safety for the
Microsoft Child/Teen account.

Give this a try and let us know how it goes

No error code it just said no child or teen accounts are allowed to make purchases my account is an adult account

Sorry to hear about that, however, it's possible that you're under a child or teen account which is why you needed to be in a family group. Please know that at Microsoft, they are very thorough when it comes to a child/teen account to ensure that the community is fun and safe for everyone.

Child/Teen accounts are classified as:

-Young child: Anyone under the age of 8

-Child: Ages 8 through 12

-Teen: Ages 13 through 17 (or 19 in South Korea)

In this case, you need to ask either of your parents or guardian to create a family group for you by signing in at https://account.microsoft.com/ using their own account (or create a Microsoft account if they don't have any) and add you as a "Member" so your parent or guardian can configure your privacy settings when they sign in here: https://account.xbox.com/settings

Child and Teen accounts can only be removed from the family by an Adult account.
