    So a bot send me an group chat invite and I joined it in the group there was a sus link I didn’t click on it but I did join their group can they do any harm with me joining the group

    Hello Dennis_532, sorry to hear you're having trouble.

    When it comes to bots it's best to ignore the message, delete it and then move on. Bots can provide links that can end up gaining access to your account if you're not careful.

    When will a system be in place to prevent this? Probably never because as soon as they do something to stop the spambots the people running the spambots find a workaround.

    Just report & block them & move on.

    You can always set your comms to "friends only" in the privacy settings if it bothers you that much.
