Camping is ruing the fun of multplayer games for me.

Wow really complaining about how people choose to play. Get over it already the games are made for people who like to play so they can play the way they choose. The whining is horrible please stop.

 

Haven't been on this thread in ages, great to see the discussions going on.

I've quit playing COD and actually sold the game so I don't even own it anymore. Now I play BF4 (mostly), Titanfall and Destiny. I've had zero problems with campers in BF4 and Destiny with only a few in Titanfall, but I stick to Hardpoint where it's not
beneficial to camp.

Since I haven't played COD I've begun to enjoy my online gaming FPS experience again. I won't be buying another COD game (my loss really) until the developers outspokenly discuss the issue and try to solve it.

Willsky, you haven't run into any campers in BF4 yet? I find that hard to believe - there are snipers all over the place that love to camp it up in the spawns or high places of certain maps. :|

 

It's a part of gaming. There's no stopping it. It's not considered cheating either. It's just a different style of play. The best offense is a good defense.

 

I love camping both in game (but I don't do it all the time) and in real life. We really need to do more of it instead of being stuck in our schedules school or work. Better watch out for Halo MCC comes out early next month (November). Yes another game where
you get campers is in Halo! Microsoft allows it and encourages it probably why the have an Achievement for it in Halo 4. But glitching and hacking I don't like especially if it's a disadvantage for the other team. I love to play Infection/Zombies in Halo Reach
and Halo 4 and Big Team Battle, and in COD BO2 Zombies Buried and Tranzit maps have many good camping places well at least in that playlist you're doing it against AI zombies not real peps.

 

i used to be a pro on cod rushing everywhere with mp5k owning campers, but i stopped playing for a few months then i sucked absolute ***, had to change my playstyle, to a objective based style

 

I stay at resorts, camping is for the poor.

 

I would like to go camping in the wilderness, you know, get one on one with nature ;DD. Camping isn't necessarily for the poor only. When I was 11-13 all schools had to do it as it's part of the curriculum in NZ and my school is a decile 10 which means it's
a very good school . It teaches you life skills in a way and to.... "get out" instead of being cooped up inside. We found it really fun, rather than being at a resort with the queen having afternoon tea.
