Camping is ruing the fun of multplayer games for me.

I don't camp as much as I don't go out in the open and try to stay behind cover. I love to catch people by surprise. If that is camping, then color me guilty. I don't like dying.

You are right camping got a lot of flack, but really the 'run and gunners' are a bigger problem who give the most kills over to the opposing team.

I did it once after someone posted the video here. It actually went well. I think I got like 19 kills with 4 or 5 deaths on HC TDM. Sentries, Guardians and trophies for days.

Not sure if this works on XBL, but on PSN I block the campers who camp every match and never see them again What's interesting is that almost all of them have Zero trophies/gs. I'm not a serial blocker, not all campers are equal as we know. Camping every
map is different to maps that are made for camping, iw are the worse map designers. I never get beaten by campers but the boredom its too much,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

 

Its amazing that when you use your brain and play using strategy. You are deemed a camper. Yes sitting in corners i dont like myself. But finding bottleneck points, and high traffic areas and killing people who venture there is called strategy. I bought
the system, and the games, i play how i want to. Go cry elsewhere, just because people play in their own way.

 

I think the term camping itself is overused especially in objective game modes where defense is needed.

 

Camping to me is like in BF4 going to a spot where people cant reach you on foot. like the roofs on flood size on siege. Camping like that just destroy the game and is getting old.

 

Its funny, I have been seeing these posts since about 2001, maybe even before. I think the first time I started seeing these was around Quake2, so it goes back a ways. Anyway you console gamers were late to FPS and very very late to mulitplayer FPS (I was
already bored with it by the time CoD2 came out). Nothing is changing here, your just growing up and doing the same old multiplayer FPS thing over and over and over and over gets boring. It happens to everyone eventually.

Im 35, and i live in New York. I cant even stand to play tp many COD games online anymore, because of campers. We also have people who use online cheats. I remember the games where there were no cheats or campers. This dont prove your good at the games you
play, it shows that you cant play.

 

@rageorder - I'm talking about people that simply don't move at all, the spot to spot campers are easy to take out.

 

Im moving of to the land of Co op more and more so campers and non PTFO MP players are actually increasing my fun of multiplayer. BF4 killed any love i had for the franchise and the attitude of most players.

 

For Bf4 and Bf3? I didn't find camping to be a problem. Idk, the games where more difficult imo and that made them better, Also, you've got some pretty mad recordings of you playing Bf4 so,,,,,,, you don't like it?. Cod is the killer, people just keep going
back and I'm one of those people.

 

Its not the camping like we know it, mainly the guys on rooftops or the railway line in the new maps. I have loads more BF3 clips than I do BF4 clips and quite a lot less total hours game time as well.

 

It has to be my vision because BF4 is as clear as day to me, can see other people hiding easily. But even so, I don't think it's as much as an advantage on the BF games. Acuracy is stepped up when you compare with the cod's though given that they are dedis?
theres no real lag comp going on.

In reality, I've been playing nothing but Dark Souls 2 and Now Dark Souls for 2 months, So,,,,,,, better download these new maps
