Camera not Broadcasting on the twitch App

I have been through all the trouble shooting options (hard reset, sync accounts, content permissions within the Xbox options, uninstall, reinstall, change camera).

Initially the issue was that Xbox Kinect would no longer work with the Twitch stream app, it turned out that Microsoft had stopped supporting its use for streaming through twitch.

So, I bought a web cam instead and It worked fine up and until 13/10/20’s Xbox system update. Since then here’s what happens...

· Open up Twitch App

· Go to the broadcast option

· Make sure Webcam option is on

· Webcam live light comes on and then disappears.

· I begin to Broadcast a game

· Twitch shows no camera is available (audio from mic works fine btw)

I have tried numerous different options even a brand-new camera. It still refuses to work with any camera at all.

Has Microsoft stopped support of any camera with Twitch on Xbox? From your end can you tell me if there any similar issues other people have been having? I have searched the forums with no luck. I cannot be the only one.

I love streaming but I cannot afford a PC right now, all I have is my Xbox. I would like to be told that it just won’t work anymore or that there is a way to fix it. I hope you can help.

ok this is an issue my son had himself and i corrected it this way. ..

download the xbox insider app and opt in for the insider program and beta dashboards etc, update your console this way and hopefully your camera woes should disappear, its a small issue with current dashboards but hopefully this should solve it for you

It is. To stream on Xbox one to twitch simply launch the Twitch app or install it first then sign in then head over to broadcast, the app should snap over to the right side of your screen then you can set it up from there. For the kinect depending on what
you mean by "add video" it's basically a camera and a mic you can add yourself to your Upload studio projects and Skype.

to change your twitch broadcast settings.

go into the Twitch app on your Xbox One.
Click on the broadcast tap.
that will show you your broadcast settings.

Delete the app power down your console install the app.

make sure you have the right settings for broadcasting
