Callisto Protocol disk not recognised on Xbox Series X

I received the Callisto Protocol last Christmas, and while I got a few hours in, this time the Xbox isn't recognising the disk at all. It simply gives me a generic error message saying the licence can't be read and recommending cleaning the disk. I've cleaned the disk, ensured TCP is updated, but still nothing.

I read online that uninstalling and reinstalling TCP may fix it, but I can't reinstall the game as it can't recognise the disk. The disk is in pretty much new condition, no scratches or dust.

Is this a common issue? The only way I can see to get around it is buying TCP again on the Microsoft Store, but I'm pretty let down on what is already a rather lacklustre console.

Hello Joe, I don't know if you've tried any procedure on your console, like a reset keeping games and apps.

If you haven't tried it yet, follow the steps below.

The first is a clear cache

1. Go to the Xbox press and hold the XBOX power button on the console for 10 seconds until it turns off

2. Wait 10 seconds until it turns off

3. Wait 1 minute with it off

4. Turn it back on

Xbox One reset keeping Games:

Press the Xbox button to open the panel.

Select system > Settings > System > Console Information

Select Reset console.

Restore and maintain my games and apps.

Rest assured, you won't miss games or saves

Note: You need to know the email and passwords of your accounts when performing this reset.

Thanks for that information. Have you tried to search in the Xbox store for The Callisto Protocol for Xbox Series X|S if you see the version already installed on your console?

After purchasing the upgrade, search in the Xbox store for The Callisto Protocol:tm: for Xbox Series X|S to install the Xbox Series X|S version of the game.

I tried loading the series version of control from USB and my console said I needed to transfer the game
