    owen thanks for the links! if you learn to explain what you giving instead of assuming people know that the link is not just taking people right back to what has already been tried and not just link with "this is a discussion forum" People will probable
    see you as a help!

    Badger thank you for explaining that the link is different than the support I used! maybe now I can figure out whats up with this!

  2. Well for a start you are hijacking someone else`s thread anyway, who actually said the links were for you???

    Both linked were explained.

    Any other words i typed would have gotten the same attitude.

    Anything you are dealing with right now is not my fault or anyone elses here, so as far i as i am concerned you can stick your advice on how i should respond, and i will continue to respond how i like.

    you think you can hurl personal insults and think i just walk away????

    Considering you came here for a discussion, why are you so grateful for a support link or an explanation of what those links are??

    Are you telling me i am right and you did want support after all and not a discussion???

    Basically if you just followed my links to the support page straight away and said thanks, this "discussion" never needed to have taken place and i wouldn`t have had to listen to yet another user with attitude.

  9. I'm sorry to hear that you didn't have much luck with support, but bashing them won't solve anything. What might solve things is a License Transfer, which can be done once every for months. To do so on xbox one go to: Settings> My Xbox> My Home Xbox ; and
    set the xbox as your home xbox, you should then be able to redownload forza and anything else you may have deleted. You should find it my games and apps in the games section passed all your games on a paige that says "ready to download" I hope I helped and
    in the future be nice to those trying to help you. They are taking time out of their day for you and owe you nothing.

    Doesn't work like that on the xbox one.You don't need to do license transfers on the xbox one or need to set it as a home console unless you are sharing games.

    I actually didn't give them a bashing the person I spoke to tried to help its not her I had a problem with it was xbox telling me they couldn't help an then offering me the game if I buy it first then tellin my I cant have the top gear download pack with
    it an then I can an when I did get them to do the game and the down load pack I have to pay for it and then wait 31 days plus for a refund an no I cant recover the license as when you factory reset the console it removes all digital down load licenses and
    its not on the right hand side sayin ready to install thanks for your time you don't have to reply and my console is already on home xbox

  12. @Daft Badger I was going off of what he said, he said the licenses got deleted and its my understanding that thats the xbox one equivalent of a license transfer.

    @mummyzyummy Are you sure that the problem is with the License? When did you factory reset your console relative to downloading Forza? Did the download start? finish? A factory reset shouldn't affect your xbox live account/profile unless somehow you factory
    reset before the license transfer.(shouldn't I'm not saying its impossible) The more we understand about the problem the more we can help you fix it. Sometimes we can't help you but if theres anything that can be done (other than spend 60 dollars) the support
    forums are you best shot at finding it. The people in the support forums are often more knowledgeable than the people at phone support. Phone Support is generally more useful for moderating your account (doing stuff that people like you me have no access to)
    but as far as knowledge people like you and me are far more reliable because we use xbox way more than them and are more likely to have heard of and delt with the problem already.

    While I cannot tell you weather or not you will have any luck in those forums, I promise you thats your best odds of fixing the problem.

    I got my console for Christmas an downloaded it at Christmas an the problem I was having was my xbox 1 wouldn't stay on line long enough to complete a single game on fifa and if you play fifa you will know that if you do not finish you get a dnf which goes
    against you so I assumed I had a dodgy xbox and tried to exchange it but game told me they wouldn't change it without a ref num from Microsoft even tho i bought the extended warranty so I phoned them and they said it cant be the xbox so I phoned xbox again
    they said it wasn't there problem after telling me to do a factory reset to see if that would cure the problem so I contacted my internet provider an they said the problem aint at there end as I have a super home hub 2 and was receiving 50 meg which I thought
    was correct as my phone an ipad an pc etc was connecting to the internet fine so I phoned xbox back and was on the phone for a good 3 to 4 hours as you can tell from my phone bill after all the calling. the lad I did speak to was really helpful he went through
    loads of stuff for me opening ports and adding ips etc and since then it has worked fine touch wood... so the other day I spoke to xbox support on chat and she accessed my account and said there was no license that she could see then found sumat and I was
    able to download it but when I went to play it it said resume installation so when I clicked on it it said 100% so I got back on chat today and was told there was nothing they could do cause they couldn't find the license so after explaining everything again
    she said if I buy it she would refund me in 31 days plus and I said how about my download pack which was the top gear pack and they said they could only do the game but she went an asked some one an then said I could have the game an the download pack if I
    buy it first an get refunded in 31 days plus after declined sayin how is that my fault I was then offered a months gold membership instead even though im obviously already a gold subscriber...

    wat a ball ache lol I hope this was enough info to go off

    Maybe someone here can help? If not and I can't use mine by the first, I will just sell it! I got my kids an Xbox 360 last year and they created a live account and was up and playing in a matter of min and play daily! So a few days ago I bought a used 4gig
    360 and have yet to be able to get it to connect to live so I can not up date it or games so I cant even use it! talked to a support person and said that there is a problem ( during test xbox live: fail Matchmaking: Service Alert) that once it is fixed I
    will be able to connect and use it! It has been 6 days waiting! Thinking I will sell it and go back with PlayStation!
