Be advised you only get 2 maybe 3 home console changes a year. When these are exhausted you have to call and explain yourself to Xbox Support.

I had the xbox1 for Christmas and it came with forza5 and the top gear pack ready to download but I had problems with the 1 so xbox told me to factory reset the console removing everything off it so the short version I phoned xbox and they said there is
nothing I can do because when I factory reset it removed the game license too so I was told to buy it again and they would offset the payment in 31 days ???? whats all that about... does it look like i wanna buy the game again and wait a month to be refunded
for something i was told to do by xbox support....not pleased

 

Go to my games & apps anything you've downloaded before can be re downloaded from there.

 

Maybe someone here can help? If not and I can't use mine by the first, I will just sell it! I got my kids an Xbox 360 last year and they created a live account and was up and playing in a matter of min and play daily! So a few days ago I bought a used 4gig
360 and have yet to be able to get it to connect to live so I can not up date it or games so I cant even use it! talked to a support person and said that there is a problem ( during test xbox live: fail Matchmaking: Service Alert) that once it is fixed I
will be able to connect and use it! It has been 6 days waiting! Thinking I will sell it and go back with PlayStation!

mmk!! lol dude this is a discussion for problems people have had with support! I have looked at many of your comments in other discussion forums! You seem to either just be a trouble maker or maybe some kind of xbox worker! either way I say if you dont like
what you read dont look in forums you know are obviously about issues! I have dealt with the support team with no help! So I say good day to you and I will not be pulled into an argument like you have with others!

 

Like that you see, personal insults for no real reason, yet i am the problem.

I swear this forum gets worse by the day.

 

Owen tried to help by giving you the correct links to the support forums.

They are not run by the same support people you spoke to via phone/chat & are a lot more knowlegable & mainly answered by ambassadors,like me,who are other xbox gamers who know a lot more about things than phone/chat support.

The main problem will probably be that you bought a used console,it could of been tampered with or even console banned.

I could tell i would get back that sort of attitude, but ignored my instincts.

Whenever i hear "i am selling up or going to playstation" i should just ignore them.

 

I know right,why announce it ?,just go.

I swear most of these people think by posting that Microsoft are going to drop everything just to keep them as a customer lol.

 

Some of the ones on the site this last week, i feel like buying them all playstations to help them on their way.
