Call of Duty:Vanguard won't download and install

Discus and support Call of Duty:Vanguard won't download and install in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I purchased Call of Duty:Vanguard on 11/15.     Call of Duty:Vanguard won't download and install


    I purchased Call of Duty:Vanguard on 11/15. When I navigate to the game's store page, it says "you own this". I click on Manage to install it. An error message says "we're having difficulty getting your stuff, try again later" or something to that effect. I've tried every day for 2 weeks, same error. I can see the order in my order history. I see the charge to my credit card, but the game won't install even though the Xbox Store shows that I own it.

    Xbox game won't install

    The console is an Xbox 1 and the game is Call of Duty vanguard. The error im getting is an Xbox notification saying "installation stopped". If I open it it just takes me to the download queue, if I start the download again it will just stop it and give me the same notification.

    I just bought 2400 call of duty points and I bought vanguard by accident and it was supposed to be for Modern Warfare II and it isn't showing up please help me because I'm super irritated!!!

    Francia J. thanks for the above suggestions. I completed the 4 steps above, and also decided tried resetting (it did keep my pins and groups!). However, the same error message keeps coming up after all that work! thanks again I appreciate you trying to assist me!

    Hi FredLouderman, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    Please perform a reset on your console keeping your games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    Reset and keep my games & apps.
