Call of Duty: Vanguard Controller Disconnecting Issue

I recently purchased Call of Duty: Vanguard and for some reason, my controller disconnects every so often. Sometimes only a few buttons do not work but in other times the whole controller does not work, and I cannot even switch my custom controller profiles on my elite controller. I tested some other games out, and there was no issues. I reset the cache and even reinstalled the game but the issues still persist. What can I do to fix these issues?

Connecting the controller with a USB cable doesn't work,

Controller still disconnects even with a USB cable connected,

I have the same issue with Series X using mouse and keyboard for Call of Duty Vanguard.

I played during the beta and there was no problems with the controller disconnecting but as soon as the game released, the controller disconnects,

I've tried a Xbox One controller Series X controller, with batteries and a USB cable, and the controllers still disconnects.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

To fix this, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

Same problem here. Im on series X. It seems to be a controller issue with that particular game. I used a xbox one x controller and it worked perfect. Its been doing this to me since day one of Vanguard. But it doesnt do it on other games. Hope you get it fixed! I know how aggravating it is.

I have the same problem. Its been months and call of duty has still not fixed the issue. The problem is having a wired headset connected to your controller. This is a glitch which COD has to fix. Nothing is wrong with the console. When you navigate the game menu disconnect your headset and it will work fine and wont disconnect. If it does disconnect in game or anything, just disconnect your headset for 5 seconds and it will reconnect.

hi there i buy today the call of duty vengard l tried to play the game but the game crash l can't play the game l tried to do restoring the console but nothing wha is the problem l have the new xbox series x
