Call of duty telling me i have to buy the game to play but i have bought it

I would like you to go through the following steps to clear the Mac address and then perform a quick power cycle on your console:

Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

After going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 2 to 3 minutes, re-plug them back again, then restart your console.

In case the issue still persists, the next step would be to perform a reset on the console. To do so you will need to follow the steps below to perform a reset on the Xbox:

Settings > System > Console Info > Reset This Xbox > Reset and Keep my Games and Apps.

Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

I have bought every Call of duty game since Modern Warfare, but I am not planning on buying the new COD game because it does not look like they have done anything creative with the game play. Also Battlefiled 3 releases before the new COD so I have no reason
to buy it.

For me it is Call of Duty 3. Before that game, all I ever played was TigerWoods PGA Tour Golf and with Call of Duty 3 I saw the shiny FPS light. I was hooked instantly and just couldn't stop playing in 2006, then I went and bought Gears 1 - was good, but
not as addictive as CoD3.

I'll always have a special place in my heart for Call of Duty 3 - it changed how I played games and what type of games played... I loved it

I can't bring myself to play anymore if I had wanted to play Call of Duty I owuld have bought Call of Duty. I too think that they have ruined the franchise.

Hey, I was just having the same issue. I tried restarting my Xbox to fix my stream and it just stopped letting me in so I tried restarting my Xbox again and it’s letting me back on now. I hope this works for you if not I’m sorry I can’t help much more. This is of course if you haven’t already fixed the problem.
