Call of duty says its finished downloading but when you open to main screen top right...

Hello everyone, i have the solution. If your like me, your pretty mad that spec ops isnt working. Here is how to fix it.

If yours doesnt work, it means that your spec ops pack 1 corrupted. This means that while dowloading, something didnt go right, and it caused a glitch.

1. Make sure your connected to the internet
   
2. Go into my apps and games, select call of duty modern warfare, and press manage game and add ons
   
3. Hover over the spec ops pack 1 that downloaded, and select unistall(if you dont have this, its ok, just skip this step)
   
4. One unistalled, go to the store and search "call of duty modern warfare spec ops" the add on you just deleted should be there
   
5. Press install, and let it download, do not try to open call of duty, for this might mess it up
   
6. Once its done downloading, open call of duty, and go to the main menu
   
7. Now, when selecting spec ops, it should tell you that you are missing pack 2. Press the exit option and wait, a pop up should appear that takes you to the add on.
   
8. Install pack 2 (approx 2.5 gb) without opening call of duty
   
9. Once finished installing, open call of duty, and you should be fine

Call of Duty is particularly bad about it this iteration. It has the patch that it downloads via the Xbox Live system, but then it does other package downloads in the game. This is not a problem just for you and there is nothing wrong with your Xbox,
it is just a very poor user experience with Call of Duty in how they are delivering their content and multiplayer updates and balances. It might allow them more flexibility in balancing multiplayer on the developer side, but it is very frustrating as a user
and I personally don't like it. I'm not sure there is much to do other than to let Activision/Infinity Ward that you don't like the system and had a poor experience and would like to see it changed. It's not something that will likely get fixed this go round,
but next game will hopefully be better.

Some games will allow you to play certain, limited parts while the game is still being downloaded or installed.

You will usually see a "ready to play" message when this happens.

In order to get access to the full game, you need to wait until the game has fully finished downloading and installing.

if you highlight over modern warfare and press the menu button and then select manage game and add-ons and then go to the left side of the screen and see if there are any other parts waiting to install under updates or ready to install and select each
of those to install.

When you say crash, its unable to open right, go back to main screen? so try to open another game, if they do right try you game again so if they not start, do a power cycle on console holding power button for 10 secs, wait 2 minutos so you can turn on again.
