Call of Duty Modern Warfare "Something went wrong, your items are not lost..."

I have been getting this message for over 8 months now,

"Something went wrong, your items are not lost. please reboot the game to redeem them"

I have "quit" the game and restarted it.

I have reset my console

I have done a system reset

I have reinstalled the game

I have reset my MAC address

I have unplugged my router

This message pops up on the multiplayer screen, back to back. It keeps popping up. It causes my game to lag. It makes my multiplayer screen lag.

This is one of the most frustrating issues I have ever had to deal with. If this doesn't go away. I am moving to a Playstation console for the Black Ops.

Please help me fix this.
