Call Of Duty Modern Warfare not allowing me to play campaign

I purchased the disc of COD Modern Warfare some time ago and have played the campaign game, which is the only way I prefer to play the games. However having downloaded and installed some updates on my Xbox One X I now find Call Of Duty Modern Warfare is not allowing me to play campaign.

Having searched a number of times and tried a few of the suggested ways to resolve the issue I am not making any progress.

I can only conclude that Microsoft and/or the makers of COD seem to loose interest in the customer when they have the money. The degree of lack of technical support for gamers as end users seems staggering, surely there must be a simple technical solution.

I was seriously considering a purchase of the Xbox Series X but am wondering if it might now be time to switch to PlayStation for my future gaming………….

Has anyone found a fix to make playing COD Modern Warfare campaign possible?

Did you purchase Call of Duty Modern Warfare?

Call of Duty Warzone is free to download and play with an active Xbox Live subscription. The Call of Duty Modern Warfare campaign is not.

This is the Call of Duty Modern Warfare page, make sure you own at least the standard edition if you want to play the Campaign.

in the page you will see that only the Warzone is free for all.

the DLCs the game is asking you are:

Modern Warfare® - Campaign Pack 1 And

Modern Warfare® - Campaign Pack 2

which are included in both Standard Edition And Battle Pass Edition.

Hello! My favorite Call of Duty's are Black ops, Black ops 2, and Modern Warfare 2 and 3. The campaigns for the newer Call of Duty's are not good besides Modern Warfare. They focus too much on technology, reminds me of Titan Fall.

Does every dlc appear on "Manage game & Add-ons" on MW ? is there any missing ? you should have:

“Call of Duty: Modern Warfare — Multiplayer Pack”
“Call of Duty: Modern Warfare — Spec Ops Pack 1″
“Call of Duty: Modern Warfare — Campaign Pack 1″
“Call of Duty: Modern Warfare — Campaign Pack 2″

My favourite Call of Duty campaign was Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Granted, I've only played a few of them, so I don't have the most experience when it comes to discussing the campaigns of these games.
