Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 details leaked - report

My beef with them adding another developer, is having to wait even longer to find out the continuation of a campaigns cliff hanger. Not happy about that lol.

 

After playing Ghosts, BO2 and MW3 I don't think I will be in a rush to play another CoD game because I will end up trading the game in. Like many of you I hope that this is not true.

 

yes fatal exacty, the only cod i ever fully prestiged in and even got my assault rifle golden guns, was top 5000 in the world at its peak, even now i still play it, iw do not remake this game you will make a total and utter hash of it...and ive noticed alot
more players on it since ghosts as most are prestige one, cod 4 reborn, bliss..and it was the most balanced cod..we had had exactly the same killstreaks, the jets were amazing flying over and dropping their bombs lol

 

im happy with a 3 year dev time as long as they up date the damn engine if they dont i wont b getting the next ghosts or blops. btw slegehammer may not do MW4 reason being is its now there baby so they could start fresh. and fatal i was the same i stayed
up till the servers went down at 2:30am GMT. and i aint being funny to america with what i am about to say but i dont see a Vietnam War game ever being made because america didnt win it did they so can u imagine the single player we would play a SP where we

@Ghost you're right - it's the damn engine that needs work....it's well out of date and "one-dimensional". Until they do something radical with it the same is going to be stuck in the past generation.

 

You are correct Yeti. When everyone had the same killstreak, things were balanced. Just like everyone having a Titan.

 

The next CoD will NOT be Mw4. MW is made by Infinity Ward, who just made Ghosts. Treyarch and IW switch off every year on making CoD titles. This year is Treyarch's turn.

 

Agreed when i played the ghosts single player u can see its from old CODS the way ur ghosts team go round corners and crouch etc

 

I would love to see a World War 2 game again, right now the industry thinks near future/future themed games are the big thing now.

 

@Ghost do you not think if they did a Vietnam and made it so the USA lost it would be a refeshing change? I know its unlikely but I think it would be good.

They did a platoon game on the commador 64 that was good.

 

@ Ghost COD BO the USA lost the war. In my OP i really shouldn't matter. I would love a Vietnam game who care who won or loss in Real life its a game not really life. Also It wouldn't matter as long as the player won his personal goal in the game.

 

@ Split Rhymes: Rumour has it that this year CoD is being made by a new developer, specifically those who made Dead Space. Besides, Activision own IW so they could probably do as they like and commission who they like to make the games. Not to mention that
today's Infinity Ward isn't really Infinity Ward at all anymore since the legal disputes and resignations of the last few years.

MW4 is highly possible and actually quite likely. Still, I can't imagine it's going to be worth looking at twice as I feel that CoD is a dying franchise and the MW campaign flopped in MW3. But... we'll see what happens. I can't knock it until I've played
it.
