    Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 hacked online


    I was playing COD: MW2 online (Xbox 360) two nights ago and the game was hacked. Long story short, I was forced to reset my rank and update the game to get back online and as a result all my weapons and achievements were gone (they had been removed anyway).

    Is Microsoft investigating this and also is there any way I can have my weapons and achievments restored? This stinks.

    • Call of Duty: Black Ops (rubbish, ok getting bored now)

    Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 hacked online

    Personally I think they gave up with the older CoD titles a long time ago.

    The only really safe way to get out of a hacked game lobby is to exit the game straight back to the xbox dashboard screen.

    DO NOT complete the match you are in, just press the big silver Xbox button, straight back to dashboard.

    Unfortunately, as far as I am aware, there is no way to restore the items you have lost.

    Not all of off the call of duties are that bad. Here's a list of how online is in terms of hacking/modding.



    Call of Duty 4 = BAD

    Call of Duty: World at War = VERY BAD

    Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 = OK

    Call of Duty: Black Ops = GREAT

    Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 = TBD

    Are you playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 or Call of Duty: Black Ops? With Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 an issue could be you are trying to play split screen online multiplayer over Xbox Live. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 does not support split
    screen online multiplayer. On the other hand if you are playing Call of Duty: Black Ops split screen online multiplayer is support however both accounts must be gold subscriptions (unless the 2nd user is signed in as a guest). If this problem proceeds please
