Call of Duty III Gold - Awakenings

Why would I get charged for Awakenings when I have Call of Duty III Gold?

Installing The Awakening (Black Ops 3)

A lot of people are struggling with the way Treyarch have handled the new way of downloading Map Packs and DLC.

The way it works is like this: During the March update, Treyarch INSTALLED the Map Pack on your Xbox One ready, then when it gets released, you are actually downloading the licence key plus updates (around 9GB total)

So I've found this post, to help you get access to the MP (as it isn't initially easy to find!)

To access the Awakening DLC pack for the first time, launch Call of Duty: Black Ops III and allow any game update to download and install as normal. Once updates are fully downloaded and installed, simply download the Awakening DLC pack activation key through
the in-game store.

1. Select Store from the main menu.
2. Select Map Packs.
3. Select Awakening DLC to activate the DLC pack.

Once Awakening is activated, players have immediate access to the four new multiplayer maps as well as the first chapter of the Call of Duty: Black Ops III Zombies adventure.

I have just gotten charged for DLC 3 in in black ops 3 when I have the season pass, any suggestions?

 

Go to My games & apps, highlight Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, press the menu button, select Manage game, and you should see Ready to Install populate with the DLCs that you own that you haven't installed yet. From there, you can download those DLCs without
the store trying to charge you for them.

Just found this from activision support

Xbox One Season Pass owners: You might see a price associated with Map Packs when downloading them from the in-game store or the Xbox Store. Please note this is a known issue with Xbox Live. Follow these steps to access the Map Packs without being charged:

From the Xbox dashboard, go to My games and apps.

Select Call of Duty: Black Ops III.

Press the Start button and select Manage game.

Your DLC will begin downloading automatically.
