Who else saw COD when watching the Halo 5 trailers? i mean im still gonna play it, but it looks like they are copying COD so bad, and i see some Titanfall as well, with the clambering, and the recent failure Xbox 360 game, warface with sliding, do you agree
with meh?

Well first of all it's not custom class, it's a default start loadout for everyone, and weapons on map. Weapon and map control as a team instead of lone wolf run n' gun cod. Plus the game runs fluent, no latency and lag compensation like cod.

Sure their are similarities, copying the good ain't bad. They just wanted to speed things up

 

Just played it and it Played like COD,. Even one of the videos they issued say some things will fee lik a COD style Game. all I can say Halo of Duty any one?

 

That's what everyone said when Reach came out *yawn*.

 

Nahh, COD for sure ripped of Titanfall in both concept and how he game played. This halo has taken some ideas but it still plays more like halo ie. slower, guns are crazy lethal, takes way more bullets to kill, feels more brutal etc.

 

Halo 5 feels in no way shape or form anything like COD.

 

No nothing like COD. Play COD and can do well and have fun but not in Halo. If you don't have a squad you lose VS COD where it is possible to win playing on a crappy team Then again I don't like Halo's mp style. So what ever. Don't like the gun
control BS, makes it hard for New players to get into the grove when the old folks get all the toys first and dominate the game

 

No Halo 5 is nothing like COD.

COD:Advanced Warfare is 100 times better than Halo 5.

Being forced to start games in Halo 5 with a gun I hate using takes all the fun out of the game for me.

I despise Battle Rifles. Being forced to use them is annoying. Also the fact that they are the most powerful guns in the game also makes me hate them even more because I am not the best aim.

Halo 5 needs to have a loadout system and better weapon balancing if they want it to be successful because currently the game only appeals to the Hardcore Halo 2 fans.

 

@Malacath, COD SUCKS! It takes no skill or strategy, I mean if you like it fine, but I like a challenge when I play a game. And you don't have to use BR, there are plenty of weapons on the maps... And in MY opinion the pistol is still the best weapon to
use if you are accurate enough, and it's still in beta so give it a chance.

Yes but as everyone starts with the BR I usually get killed before I can even get to another weapon.

It's just no fun at all.

As for giving it a chance. I just haven't got the patience. I despise BR starts. The fact that they are having only BR starts on the beta suggests that they are only interested in appealing to the hardcore Halo 2 fans. Without decent balanced weapons the
game just wont be fun at all and will definitely not be as successful as COD

 

Sounds like you didn't get a chance to play the first two maps with AR starts before they switched them to the current two. They were better maps too. The ones now aren't bad. Just not as good IMO.

No I didn't. AR Starts would be acceptable to me but so far it's just looking like it hasn't evolved from earlier versions of Halo.

If the full game became like Reach where you have a variety of different game starts it would be fine. Or like Halo 4 with loadouts it would be even better. But BR starts every other game like what happens in the masterchief collection would drive me up
the wall.

Personally I would like to see them add more weapons and modify the current weapons so that are all balanced better and you don't get boring games where everyone uses the same weapons.

 

Plays more like a modernized H2 or H3 which I don't think anyone can call boring. There is only so much you can do with MP FPS dude. I personally prefer everyone starts with the same weapons. When I used to play in halo LAN groups, the worst kind were spawning
with random weapons. I think people are just getting bored with video games in general, but they're blaming developers for not creating games that maintain their enthusiasm - 'cause the world owes them I guess.
