Call of Duty Ghosts Xbox One

I've previously owned Call of Duty Ghosts for Xbox 360 and it has since been made backwards compatible. However, I wanted to play the Xbox One version since it is slightly upscaled. I was able to get a code which was for Xbox360/XboxOne version. I believe
these codes could actually be bought at the launch of the game, obviously this is now years later. Basically, the code once redeemed allowed you to download Call of Duty Ghosts once on Xbox 360 and then once in Xbox One. This was both versions of the game,
not backwards compatible since at the time it was not backwards compatible. I entered the code and it worked, however I can only download the Xbox 360 and backwards compatible version of the game. I've tried Xbox support countless times and keep reaching dead
ends. Talked to a support agent as well and they were unable to help. In a nutshell I should he able to download and play Call of Duty Ghosts on Xbox One as the Xbox One version yet the game has not appeared in downloads nor can I download it from the store
as only the Gold and Digital Hardened editions are on the store, not the base edition.

Can anyone help at all otherwise I have effectively wasted my money, albeit it wasn't that much ti purchase the code.
