Call of Duty Ghost - Upgrade Offer - From 360 to Xbox One

Hi, ive just recently bought Call of Duty Ghost on the Xbox 360 (From Xbox Marketplace, Digital download). Main reason I bought it for the Xbox 360 was because of the Upgrade offer, I thought might as well get it for the Xbox One as well. Only problem
is, when i log on to my Xbox One, there is no price reduction what so ever on Call of Duty Ghost on the Game Store. Its still listed at full price, in pounds. I live in Norway, where the Xbox havent been officially released yet, so I ordered mine from the
UK. Could this have something to do with it? I also tried posting\asking on the Call of Duty forums, but as soon as i log in with my user it says "Access restricted" and wont let me into the forums for some reason. No idea why. Never used the forums before.
All in all, Ive got a Xbox 360, Ive got an Xbox One. My Call of duty account is linked to my gamertag. Ive bought the game digitally from the Xbox 360 marketplace, and now I'd like to buy the game for Xbox One for a Upgrade price. So, could you guys give me
a proper answer if im elligble or not for this upgrade offer? Thanks! Regards, Ruben

it will work, if you bought the digital copy from the MS market place it will work not sure about any others:

The game will show as full price until you actually start the transaction. Once you start it, it should be discounted

yeah, it's first listed as full price, but still listed as full price after hitting buy once, on the screen that says "no refunds"

After seeing advertising to get it for $10 I finally got a Xbox one today but the download is full price

The game stays as full price when you click buy now (£54.99)

Why the crazy price anyway, you can buy it new on ebay for £37.87, the marketplace is only a download no overheads (a shop, disk, postage etc) so should be cheaper.

After speaking with both Microsoft and Activision live chat for hours, this offer is apparently still only valid in the US. The only way to get it in Europe was by going through eligible retailers. In the UK all of the eligible retailers have now ended this
offer.

The digital marketplace offer has only been and is only available in the US region. I'm never gonna buy an Activision game again. Simply because they did not anywhere in their upgrade FAQ mention that it is only available in the US.

I've been scammed. This is a typical "you failed to read the small text before buying", except there was no small text. Microsoft sale for the win from now on. =)

I recently upgraded to xbox one transferred call of dutie ghosts paid £9.99. My xbox tells me I have free content available for ghosts when I click to dowload it states unavailabke anybody tell me why please.

Your download history will show that you bought the game for the 360 and should charge you the reduced price for the Xbox One. If you're able to buy it digitally in the UK now, I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Call of Duty Ghosts is the only game that has this offer for digital upgrades at this point in time. There's retail stores that are offering you the ability to purchase the Xbox 360 version of the game and then trade it in at that same store for the next
gen version for $10 (Best Buy, Gamestop, etc).

Information in regards to this promotion has not been released yet. Activision has not released a list of retailers that will have these dual license digital copies of the game. It also doesn't state that it's US only on their website, it doesn't list where
that's valid, it just lists the information there. It states "participating retailers" yet all the ones on their website have no idea of such an offer. Leads me to believe that Activision has not made this information available to them just yet.
