Call of Duty Ghost Stats Reset

I just recently started playing Ghost after a few weeks. I was on vacation and I haven't played the game since then. So I started the game and I immediately went to multiplayer. As I got on, all my stats were reset. Everything was gone. Then I quickly contacted
Microsoft about the issue. We tried all different methods to see if they would reset back to the way they were, but all the methods didn't work. So they redirected me to activision support. I talked to an operator and at the end of the conversation he couldn't
do anything about it. All he said was that in order for your account to not get banned we had to reset your account. I never violated any code of conduct. I may have quit some games because I had to do something, but still that shouldn't give them the right
to ban me or reset my account. Also, in extinction mode all my stats were gone also.

The Activision Support pages state that this is because they have become corrupted and needed to be reset to the last known level.

According to the Activision Support pages, this is caused by them getting corrupted and needing to be reset to that last known setting on their servers.

As this is an issue with one game you would need to contact the developers again,it's nothing to do with microsoft.

 

I have already, I spoke with one of the activision employees on their hotline. All they could tell me was that they're sorry. That they can't get the game developers to help me out. But before microsoft had told me that the game developers would if I talked
to them on that hotline. So the activision employee just apologized and said that it couldn't be helped. He didn't even try to communicate with any game developers.

 

Same happened to me. Has yours been fixed?

 

this happens solely on call of duty Servers resulting in activision being responsible so stay in contact for Information or a possible Resolution.

you would have recieved a gs reset or a account ban or Suspension for live in total if it was done by Microsoft.

 

It sounds like a modder was in there and reset stats. Otherwise, they don't randomly reset. That's my guess anyway. Not saying you knew there was a modder, just saying it could have been one in a public lobby.

 

Fatal Triggs you answered your own question. Activision said that they reset your stats instead of banning you. It was a developer ruling and enforcement; whether you agree or not it was the decision they made. Microsoft/Xbox has nothing to do with this,
as such you will have to deal with Activision.
