Call of duty "GHOST" ?? Largest upset in gamer history?

IEDs got nerfed in the last patch. IMHO dogs health was the OP'd part, it was the OHK commando lunge, but its whatever, I have adapted. BTW I think the graphics are pretty good on the Xbone.

 

A pistol is overpowered if I'm running around in the open with a shotgun. Its the same basic princuiple with dogs. If you dont play into their hands ..... errr paws. .... they arent a problem. If I'm running around recklessly in cqc I get killed by
them a lot. Thats not op, thats me being stupid.

But playing stupid does pay off well, so its like anything else that is a big gamble. The riskier the bet, the higher the payoff. Getting the payoff is great, but if you fail you cant blame anyone or anything because you knew the risk.



As far as the graphics ..... thats totally a matter of opinion. I always preferred dark and dreary graphics over the bright and cartoonish graphics. I'm playing a war game, not hunting bugs bunny. But like I said ..... its an opinion thing. If you dont
like someything others do, that doesnt mean there is a problem with it...... unless maybe you were the ceo of activision or something. i suppose his opinion means something.

 

Well my only fear in the real world is dogs, so as you guys can imagine I absolutely love them.

I gave away my 360 version so I should be on the XB1 forum, but the games pretty much the same tbh.

Dogs are a massive problem, the only way to kill them (most of the time) is when they are at a distance & running at you head on otherwise be prepared to die, its not a skill thing, its just basically luck. Got killed many a time after I killed some1 &
bingo theres a dog right behind him that I had no idea was there as they barely make a sound. I definately don't think its anything to do with skill & I can't see how you can 'get better' at it.

 

Dogs WILL go after whoever killed their owner the first time. But other than that they are pretty lazy and dont bother you unless you stumble on them. Even then they will usually growl first.

cqc is a risky tactic that requires almost as much luck as skill but usually gives a high yeild. Like I said, I get killed by dogs a lot, but I cant complain because I'm using speed and suprise to earn my kill,. its only reaonable to have a ks that counters
that.

If you get killed by dogs a lot, its not so much about getting better at what you are doing, but doing something different.

 

^^Does the shotties kill the dogs in one shot? I also wonder if IED kill them too.

 

No ..... the bulldog is about the only good shotgun against them. The rest fire too slow. It takes at least 2 shots, sometimes 3 or 4.

Yes, ieds kill them, and I think just about any explosive.



One key to killing the dog is to keep in mind when they hit the ground the first time, they arent dead. Its easy to realx and think you're safe. But you have to keep shooting them when they are down,



Even a knife takes 2 hits to kill them..

 

Yeah, Ive hit near them with Danger Close toobs and they get blown over, but get back up.

Direct impacts ? Tough dogs., but try the mk32 for stickies , it doesnt knock them down, but they dont make it far.





Someone here inspired me to set up an explosive class. I broke it out one day when I had a problem camper. He'd sit behind his dog and satcom. I managed to stick both him and his dog with one shot ( mk32 fires 2 at a time)

 

Ive used that launcher before for the lulz with DC, but I just prefer a toob and two shots. C4, IEDs, or nades with a launcher would probably be good too.

 

So how effective are the underbarrel tubes. i was wondering because you lose your leathal nades, but you get 2 for 0 points ( if its your only attachment) where lethals each cost you 1 point each and a point for the perk to give you 2..

Might be a good addition to my dbag class.

 

should be able to put your arm up for the dog to bite, then upper cut the dog in the neck with a knife.

no arm bite in history ever insta killed anyone.

I think you put blops 2 in the tray on accident. At least lag comp was on your side.

 

Underbarrel toobs are good with Danger Close. It is not a OHK for the dogs. I did not direct impact, but I hit close to them and itll blow them over, but they get back up.
