Call of Duty edition Xbox One Controller won't turn on.

So this is rather irritating, but I was playing ESO for a few and decided to go outside a smoke a cigarette. Which only took about 5 mins but when I came back I noticed it said my controller disconnected. I thought that was odd seeing that I was only away
for 5 mins but I go to turn my controller back on and noticed it will not power on at all. I've tried new batteries, reseting my console, and plugging up the controller to the console via usb and still nothing. What gives? I left the controller on my bed.
It didn't fall or anything..

When I put call of duty ghosts on my xbox one it won't load it just turns into a black screen what can I do?

Ok, so I have waited two weeks to get my Xbox One (Day One Edition) and my controller won't turn on... Grrrr!

Being active duty US military stationed overseas, I am not sure if it worth it to send it back, wait four weeks just to get a standard controller... Is Microsoft replacing these controllers with standard controllers?

 

UPDATE: I popped off part of the back and noticed it is turning on now but when I try and connect my headset it completely shuts off and won't turn back on until I remove the headset.

To do some diagnostics. Do you have another controller or another headset (even if you borrow from a friend). Plug the headset into a different controller, what happens ? Plug a different headset into your controller, what happens ? From knowing these we
can hopefully determine whether the problem is controller or headset related. Hope this helps.

 

I just ended up buying the new Covert controller for $75..... But if I could get my original controller working that would be dope

 

Now you have another controller, can you do some of the tests I mentioned above ?

 

Only my cod edition controller is having problems. It's not my headset
