Call of Duty broke my Xbox X

i think you should contact with support. My xbox is break now too

Hi all,

My XBOX one x turned off mid call of duty game and wont restart. The light stay bright and the drive start 3 times and then the console shut down. The controller won't even connect to it. I tried unplugging and plugging it back and also the hard reset but
nothing works. Any idea before i have to ship it to Microsoft for repair?

Are you able to start your console in the Xbox startup troubleshooter mode?

Power off your console and unplug the power cord and wait 30 seconds.

Plug in the power cord, but don't power it back on, yet.

Press and hold the binding and eject button at the same time. While holding these buttons, press the Xbox button (on your console) to power on your console. Keep the binding and eject button pressed down up till 10-15 seconds until you hear two start-up
tones, then release.

Post back and let us know how that goes.

Does it start up at all? Please provide more details about the issue that you are having.

Hi Yukon - I don't think the Call of Duty game itself could do this to your Xbox, I think it will be something to do with the parts inside, maybe overheating or damage. If you bought it from a retailer, you could take it back and ask them to take a look
at it and tell you what's happened in more detail. Thanks, Luke

So this is what is happening. Turn on by pressing the xbox logo and the xbox light come right up and stay bright. the drive or something else inside the xbox click then turn off then do the same process 2 more times and then the xbox shut down. When i
turn on the controller, it blink to connect but never connect. Hope this hlps. Thank you for looking into it.
