Call of Duty Black Ops is Laggy While Offline

So Black Ops is easily one of my favorite games on the Xbox 360, up there with Skyrim and Halo Reach. So naturally, when it came to the backwards compatibility list, I was overjoyed. I rushed to my friend's house to download it on Xbox One, because my old
Xbox 360 is broken, and I live on rural-grade internet, which means I'm basically allotted 3GB of data usage a month. My less-than-optimal internet means I can't download my reverse compatible games or updates at home, and it's unfortunately the only available
option for where I live. But anyway, I downloaded Black Ops at my friend's house when it first became reverse compatible, and I played it religiously every day, as it ran great; no input lag, no framerate lag, no glitches, unlike how poor old Halo Reach runs
on the Xbox One

But then I went to download the Xbox One Windows 10 anniversary update at my friend's house, along with a fresh update for Black Ops. It wasn't until I got home, plugged my Xbox in, and started playing Black Ops that I noticed considerable lag. Zombies mode
was especially laggy, I'm guessing that it's because it's more CPU intensive than the other game modes? Anyway, I soon realized that if I connected to Xbox Live and booted up Black Ops (whiled still connected to the internet, signed in to Xbox Live), the lag
disappeared. And I could even disconnect, play the game offline, with no lag. But then, 24 hours later, I came back to play it again (offline), and it was just as laggy as before. So I repeated the process; a) Connected to XBL b) Booted up Black Ops c) Disconnected
from XBL d) Continued playing offline, lag-free.

But still, I have to connect to the internet every 24 hours just to play Black Ops without lag, and it's annoying as heck! And it's not a massive system issue either, I've played all the way through Alan Wake and Fallout 3 since the Windows 10 anniversary
update, and neither of those two games were laggy. Only Black Ops is. Anyway, it's not a major issue or anything and it might only be me suffering from this issue, but nevertheless, it's annoying. Maybe Black Ops requires another update? I'd appreciate any
possible help with the issue, or to know if anyone else suffers from the same problem. Thanks!
