Call of Duty: Black Ops disc error on Xbox One

I just saw on the Xbox 360 dashboard that Black Ops is now playable on Xbox One. So I put my Black Ops disc in Xbox One and it looks like it's not playable. I get "This game isn't playable here. For a list of Xbox 360 games playable on Xbox One, go to xbox.com/BackCompat.
(0x8082000c)" Is this gonna take a minute to fix?

Call of Duty: Black Ops II CD - My Xbox One can´t read the disc, no error message. It works on my Xbox 360 console.

Call of Duty: Black Ops is not backwards compatible. You will continue to receive that message as the title is not playable on next gen. Stay tuned to the Backwards Compatible page and Major Nelson's blog and Twitter feed for more information.

NOW Black Ops is compatible on the Xbox One. You should be able to enjoy Black Ops on your Xbox One via digital download or physical disc.

delete re-download your profile off the console and make sure that the disc is clean

It not just black ops I have the same problem with just cause 2 & saints row 4 all whet work

To play from disk you must install the disc and be connected to live to download the patch

Hey there,

Sorry to hear about the disc troubles. Is your Xbox One console able to read other Xbox One game discs? If your copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 continues to experience disc read errors while other discs work, that may indicate the disc needs to be replaced.

Give another disc a try and let us know how it goes!

Update: 13 of my 35 disc based games will not install. Some never show on the screen or give a disc error, others give a disc error, and others start install but stop at 0% and give a disc error. Again, all of these are in perfect condition with no scuffs, scratches or smudges. The games that don't work are: Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection, Assassin's Creed Syndicate, Batman: Arkham Knight, Bioshock: The Collection Disc 1, Bioshock: The Collection Disc 2, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Destiny, Destiny 2, Dishonored 2, Gears of War 4.

Next I will test them all on an Xbox One X and Launch Xbox One to confirm the discs all work perfectly.
