Call of duty black ops 4-digital deluxe

purchased game for my son it says the Call of Duty black ops 4 game is on the xbox but when trying to load it the box does not highlight and the game does not load. Can anyone help.

Please just make sure you're signed into your email linked to your Xbox account and that the game is available for Xbox before you make the purchase.

Digital Deluxe Enhanced Edition,
Digital Deluxe Edition, or the
Standard Edition. The items will be received for the DLC within the game tile once they have been published. They should appear under:

Press Xbox Button > My Games & Apps > See All > Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 > Manage Game > Add-ons.

Items will be shown under Installed or ready to install. Let us know if there is anything missing still.

The most likely solution to this issue is power cycling the console. Hold the power button for about 10 seconds and the console will power down completely, then turn it back on and try to launch the game again. If this doesn't work try following the steps
in My Xbox One game won't start or freezes during gameplay. Let us know whether any of these solutions worked for you.

If the game is fully downloaded and the steps above have been attempted go ahead and try Clearing out the game Cache since there could potentially be incomplete data on the installation. To clear the local saved games (game cache) follow these steps:

How to clear Game Cache on the Xbox One:

Settings

System

Storage

Clear Local Saved Games

Yes and Restart

IF THE CONSOLE IS CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET no progress or purchase data will be lost, what we accomplish by doing these steps would be to resync the profile to the cloud getting rid of any corruption as a byproduct.
