Call of duty black ops 2 error (0x803F8001)

I have a problem, i downloaded my digital bo2 in my xbox one again, so when i try to launch it appears this error. So, i come to the xbox store and i appears a message that i buyed the game. Why i can´t launch it?

Sorry to hear you are running into this problem, looks like the Error code you are receiving (0x803F8001) means that you don't own the game
license on your account. Have you confirmed that you are on the correct account in which the game was purchased? Check your

Order History under this account and confirm you see the transaction. If you do not see the transaction you will need to make sure you are signed in to the correct account and of course check your bank statements and make sure that you were indeed billed
for the game.

Of course in regards to this issue you would need to
Contact Xbox Customer Support directly so that they can fully assist you.

Thanks, but that´s exactly why this is a problem. I checked my xbox history and i have the product. So, that´s why i don´t know what i need to do

 

I have the same issue. It worked up until a couple of days ago. I tried contacting xbox customer support today but their solutions didn’t fix anything.

 

If you own the game you must be able to play it!!

Try uninstalling then install it again...

 

Store indicated I own the game, presents "Play" button - Same Error.

Checked Service Status - All Services OK - Same Error.

Restarted Xbox - Same Error.

Uninstalled/Reinstalled game - Same Error.

Reset XBox w/o preserving Apps & Configuration - Downloaded game from Store -AGAIN- Same Error.

Resolve the issue or provide a refund.

Ok boys, i (almost) solved it. I donwloaded vanilla bo2 (without nuketown 2025 too). Then i launched the game and i can play now

Thanks for updating us in regards to this issue with COD: Black Ops II getting the error code

0x803f8001. So far we know that only one has mentioned to have redownloaded the game and so far it's working decent now.

Just in case the problem does persist for anyone else and if it hasn't been done already we suggest to perform
a reset of the console since
the problem might be on the actual OS of the console so we would suggest a
Soft Factory Reset(while keeping games and apps)
Before resetting your console make sure of the following:

• There is a stable network connection.
  
• The information for all profiles is known (email and passwords)
  
  
  

Once the setup is complete it will ask if we want to keep settings or manual setup
let's do manual setup.


Give it a shot and let us know of any changes!

 

First off I'm a girl haha anyway when downloading the game do you get the option not to download the nuke town map?? I'm not at my console atm but I can't remember seeing that...

 

Try uninstalling the game and then do a power reset and install again...

 

Hey hyper yea I've tried that twice but still says the same...I've tried every bloody thing apart from asking for a refund which is my next port of call tbh
