Call of Duty Black Ops - "-13+009" Code - What does it do? Negative XP?

Today I was playing some black ops and I decided to hop on demolition. Everything seemed normal aside from a bit of lag. When I got into second chance and died I saw the message "-1e+009" on screen. I thought it was weird since I never saw that while playing
before. When the match finished I noticed I had ranked down a level. How is that possible? Did I do a glitch, did my account get hacked, is it just lag, is it a modded lobby, what happened? I have a screenshot on my theater inbox if you want to see it. I have
NEVER hacked or modded a single game on my Xbox, and all I did was join a game in public match. Also I should note I can still join public matches and I can still rank up. If you know how to avoid things like this in the future, please tell me. Help would
be greatly appreciated. Thanks! =)

Sounds like you were indeed in a modded lobby. There's not much that can be done if you were deranked except to contact the developer to let them know.

In the future, try to keep an eye on the lobbies to ensure you don't get in to a modded one by accident.

There may be a possibility but that is entirely up to the PET. No one can say for sure who will be banned and who will not be. What I would recommend is contacting phone support to file a report on what happened (remember to save the report number when
they give it to you) just to be on the safe side.

In the future, if you do find yourself in a modded lobby be sure to immediately exit out of the game and restart your console so you don't drag the mods over to another lobby.

Usually modded lobbies (from what I've been told as I stay away from online play in the CoD series) have multicolored lettering or will have people flying around the map when the game starts.
