Xbox One to Xbox 360

Hi there,

as far as I know the addons are only upgradable, so when bought on the 360 they will be available on the One, but it won't work the other way around. The following links only show upgrade:

If you purchased a digital copy of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare for Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3, you can upgrade your game for free within your console family. This offer is valid until March 31, 2105.

Please note: Free digital upgrades are available November 4 in your region.

Follow the steps below to upgrade your digital copy of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare:

PlayStation 3 → PlayStation 4

Log into your PlayStation 4 using the same SEN account (PSN ID) used to buy/redeem the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Digital Base Game or Season Pass on PlayStation 3.

Navigate to the digital content’s location in the PlayStation Store.

Add the item to your download queue and wait for the download to complete.

Xbox 360 → Xbox One

Log into your Xbox One using the same Microsoft Account (Xbox Live Account) used to buy/redeem the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Digital Base Game or Season Pass on Xbox 360.

Navigate to the digital content’s location in the Xbox Store.

So messed up...So exactly in same boat as everyone who has bought cod AW on 360 and wants to upgrade for free on their xbox one!!! Ok have spoke with Microsoft & Activision, basically BOTH companies are blaming each other....Best thing that you can do is
"COMPLAIN" nothing else ,,,I 've missed out on double xp....Plus i still can't even play the game on xbox one.....ALSO CAN WE GET A GOD *** RESPONSE FROM MICROSOFT ON HERE TO TELL US EXACTLY WHATS HAPPENING...SURE THE LEAST THEY CAN DO AFTER MESSING US AROUND!!!!!!

 

I feel cheated. They charge full amount on the download that does not give us a game. And now we have to wait with no set date or time for the XBOX one Upgrade? Why are you doing this MICROSOFT??

 

Still nothing? I'd love to get this 40+ GB download started sometime soon...

 

I'm in the same boat. A little frustrated.

 

Exactly what I am getting from this as well MeekDrunkAce, and they won't give us any compensation for this mess and we are given the standard version of the game with none of the DLC. Funny because I heard the upgrade plan works perfectly fine on Playstation
consoles even allowing you to buy the Day Zero version instead on you next gen PS4 and receive it on PS3 for free.

 

I'm disappointed, this is unfortunate. The only problem I have with the game. I bought the season pass on Xbox 360 and has left me to download and install on Xbox One. I am beginning to suspect that everything was planned, but they were going to let the
season pass download and not the game. It makes no sense. I want to be compensated in some way. I'm from Spain-Europe.

 

I checked after midnight and it wasn't available. I checked again this morning at 6am before going to work, still unavailable. It is now noon CST and it still is not working. We haven't heard one word from Activision, Microsoft or any of the gaming news
websites. I understand that there are problems with new releases, but they really need to communicate to us that they know there's a problem and are working on it. Also, while I certainly appreciate the free upgrade option, why did 360 owners HAVE to purchase
the regular version of the game. Why were we not allowed to get the Day 1 edition from the Xbox Store?

 

Ughhhhh. Same problem here. This is friggin stupid that they have YET to figure out the problem. Activision just keeps saying we're sorry for the delay. Thank you for being patient blah blah blah. Playstation upgrades worked fine. And could even go from
ps4-PS3... Which I would've much rather did if they gave us the opportunity to downgrade. But no. Had to wait till like 1:30 am on day Zero to download it on my 360... To find out that I have to wait... Well now 2 days (and who knows how much longer) before
I can start my download and play on the Xbox one... And I'm sure by the time they actually fix it. If they do... Double xp will be long gone. "/ soo glad I decided to get an Xbox one over a PS4..... -____-

 

i have been having the same issue. downloaded for my 360 and then went to my one to try to download and nothing. was hoping deleting and re-downloading back to my 360 would help some, but nothing. also, has anyone had a problem receiving the bonus guns and
such for their day one edition?

 

Same here. Spoke to MS rep today and they were aware of the issue. Quote below

"Check back in a few hours within 24 hours and I’m confident we should be all good. You can consider this issue resolved considering the circumstances."

 

It appears that the upgrade had the same issue on the playstation...but their fix is working. While Xbox owners continue to wait.
