Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare console bundle problem

I ordered the limited edition Call of Duty console so I could have the 1TB hard drive and play AW on "Day Zero." I received the console yesterday and all day yesterday my download code for the game would not work. I got a message that said "The code you
entered could not be found. Please contact the code provider or try again later." Well, according to support.xbox.com the problem was not resolved until November 4th at 12:13 AM. I think it is fair to ask Microsoft for some sort of compensation for this problem
seeing as there was apparently no point in ordering the bundle to play on "Day Zero" since I could not even initiate a download until after Day Zero was over! Microsoft, I get it, things happen. Please don't leave me hanging though.

Xbox one bundle with new call of duty ?

Simply Games do a bundle with the new white Sunset Overdrive bundle & COD for £339.99, it's out of stock at the moment but worth keeping an eye on in case it comes back in stock.

That despite the xbox.com product description page reading:

".... The bundle also includes the full game download of the Call of Duty®: Advanced Warfare Day Zero Edition, with early access and double XP on November 3..."

I can not fathom to you how upset I am over this joke of an issue. I know I am not the only one that paid out the *** for this console and game as advertised, and I surely know I am not the only one that got ***. Day Zero was practically not there to the
players that payed much more for the console and game then just the regular copy... SO I guess in MS's eyes the more you spend the less they care?

I have called and communicated to Xbox support via chat and outright demanded compensation for this issue as I knew what was going on last night. I was refused compensation they told me they could not help me.

Perhaps you could, otherwise I AM sending this *** thing back.

 

I would like to hear an update on this as well. The compensation doesn't have to be crazy, but it would be nice to feel like MS actually felt bad about this whole fiasco. I want to feel appreciated as a consumer. I just got an Xbox One, and this was not
a favoring opening experience. I was previously on the fence. I have loved every one of my Xboxes, but it is going to come down to who shows that customers matter the most.

I understand stuff happens. The issue lies with what is going to happen to make up for it.

 

I totally agree with Nutcracker - to pay all this money & then be left in limbo without access to the game or other items in the package.

I have not been able to run Advanced Warfare since Sunday. it just hangs at the splash screen. tried reinstalling to no effect. has anyone seen similar?

i have the bundled version
