As for COD ...

Everytime a new one is announced or information starts to trickle out I live in hope that "this time" they will bring something new to the table, so far I've been disappointed, maybe this time?

I'm not knocking people for still enjoying it, I play racing title after racing title, no doubt others would be bored here aswell, for me though COD needs something drastic to happen to it for me to be interested again, mainly for the multiplayer.

 

@Lofty... Nope, won't be touching it. Didn't buy the last one either.

 

COD threads have been overtaken in the tedium department by the gaggle of people rushing up to declare that the game is poor and they don't play it.

It's definately the latter that are duller.

Not so keen on the Treyarch fillers myself but the "Modern Warfare" series consistently delivers a good product.

It's a very competent shooter that rewards both the skilled and the novice alike.

There's a reason the series is successful and that's because like it or not, the Publisher is doing something right.

I'm on the fence with this shot. Not got a lot of love left for CoD and I don't think shiny graphics will be enough to lure me back. I'll await further reveals. Thanks for posting dude.

 

Haven't bought one since Modern Warfare, still enjoy playing the SP when I can blag a copy (except the pile of dung that was Black Ops 2) but anything more than a blag is out of the question.

 

Az has a point though, I know there's load that moan about COD each time, I've been one myself but they must be doing something right with how many copies they sell each time.

I can't remember though the last time I purchased COD for myself, I think it was the first Black Ops, I'm lucky that my son buys it year in, year out, same as the wife so I can always grab a copy to play through the campaign or do some co-op.

Regarding the MP, at the very least I'd like to see it go back to the basics with the weapon perks, kill streaks, with all the options you get these days it almost feels like an RPG sometimes.

And no-more dogs, maybe a cyborg penguin or something ;-)

 

They'd really have to strip back all the rubbish and possibly get a whole new online community to get me interested again... can't see either of those things ever happening.
