Call of Duty 2 MAJOR framerate issues...

I'm loving that you brought COD 2 bc. Slow lag and frame rate issues rendering it unplayable. Tried both download and disc. I know you'll fix it, but i figured i'd bring it up. Can't wait to play though.

Been playing all afternoon and not seen any of that.



Maybe they forgot to pay their internet bill?

 

I did a hard restart, and seemed to have solved the problem for the meanwhile. I don't know if that was a problem on my end,or if everybody should do it having the same problem if they deal with the same issue. So far so good.

 

No, still happening. Needs a fix.

 

Hi Rangers1945. The hard reset actually fixed the problems I was having with the frame rate. Thank you for your suggestion.

 

Yeah, but the longer i play, the issue seems to happen again. At least for me.

Sorry to see you're continuing to have frame rate troubles with the game. Have you had a chance to run through the entire
Backward Compatibility Troubleshooter? If not give that a go. If none of the steps in there work, please make sure to fill out the survey provided near the end.

Well it's interesting, in that i played on a total different gametag, for at least an hour and no issues there. And i don't want to follow the troubleshoot just yet, in having to delete all my saves, unless i really need too.

I haven't played it yet again today, but if it persists, i guess i'll have too if i want to play it. I guess we'll see, but i'll post here with any issues.

 

Hey. Are you using external storage? I had stuttering so moved to internal and the issue seems to have resolved. Currently playing the taxing opening to El Alamain with no iissues.

 

No, it's Internal. I keep all my BC games on Internal being they take up the least room, and keep the big games on External. Playing again last night there was still the issue. I mean, to go thru the Troubleshoot, if it only meant it would eliminate the
COD 2 saves, that's no big deal, but if it gets rid of ALL my saves, and if a i lose Dark Souls, that's a pretty big hit given all the hours i put into that.

So, i would hope they could resolve what's causing these issues, not just with this game, but as the other fella on the other thread is stating that has the issue with ALL BC games.

If it means we just can't keep our game saves from 360, then that's how it is, but they have to let us know.

You can still follow that troubleshooter as all game saves, including Xbox 360 Back Compat saves, are stored in the cloud. Feel free to continue following those steps, and be sure to fill out the survey at the bottom of the page.

Oh is that right? And so if i delete, i can always get it back? Okay, thank you for the suggestion.

 

And just as an aside,it seems the problem happens after you"pause" the game,and come back. In other words, it plays right, you get a call, pause it, come back,and the game runs slow motion. It's almost like it never recovered from the pause.

 

Just deleted and redownloaded everything. Works great !! Thanks for the help guys . Keep these BC titles coming !!
