Call me a noon but what exactly is the"Xbox 360 preview registration" all about?

I'm a bit new to forums, but I received a message from Xbox about a "preview registration" a while ago. I looked into it and registered. The notion a helping the general community with feedback on xbox's services appealed to me. I'd like to think I'm a pretty
supportive player in general so I'm all about helping where I can. Here's the rub, I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing, I've had two random updates since registering but I'm not sure what to do next. Does anyone have a clue what one is supposed to
do??

Xbox Preview Dashboard - EnrollPending

Hey Xbox, I have recently received an invite to the Xbox Preview Dashboard and I've followed all of the instructions up until console registration where I have registered. Now on console registration is says my group (Public Preview) is at a status of EnrollPending
and the action says Pending also.

I've read a few threads about this part of registration but some say they've been waiting months for anything to change so I was wondering what exactly the situation is when you hit "EnrollPending", is it a case of you've not actually been accepted yet or
can people get stuck at this stage of registration? I'm quite eager to get stuck into seeing the new plans and giving feedback as I used to do the same thing for EA with their FIFA games and I enjoy writing feedback.

So if someone could let me know what exactly I do next and what kind of time I'm looking at if I have to wait? Cheers

 

Xbox 360 Preview Program Registration Issues

Hi all! I recently got a message from Xbox saying that I was invited to join the Xbox 360 Preview Registration. I finally got to registering my 360 for the program, but for some reason I can't select the 'Xbox 360 Preview Registration' option under Your
Memberships. The text is there, but it's faded out which essentially means that I can't register. Is this supposed to be happening, or is something wrong? Thanks for any help!

 

You are basically testing new updates for the console before everyone else does.

You are not really supposed to do anything other than use your console as normal and when and if the time comes give your feedback.

Not entirely sure of what is included in the programme as i didn`t sign up, but apparently one of the benefits is you can now use up to 2tb of external storage on your 360 while the rest of us are stuck at 32gb.

There will be loads more info online of what the whole programme includes.
