    I have done those steps. This is a brand new game of the xbox360 version from 2011. I just bought yesterday. There shouldn't be any disc problems what so ever. I only own one other game thats on disc. Call fo duty ww2 and that game gives me prompts to download but not mortal kombat. Maybe an issue with reading xbox 360 games
