    Calibration of Xbox One Controller effectless


    Hello there,

    The calibration (not remapping of buttons, which works fine) of the sticks and trigger-axis in the windows

    game controller settings don't have any effect on the various games in which I use the controller.

    This means the games "ignore" whatever I choose to do in that old device settings wizard. (Not for Ps4 controller, only xbox one)

    Maybe I am missing a newer way (perhaps through the xbox accessories app) to do the calibration??

    Or does anybody know a fix to make it work the "old" way/Do you even have the same problem?

    (I am running Win10 ver 2004)

    Perhaps the controller might need some calibration?

    Assuming you're using Windows 10, try to find calibration settings for your controller in the hardware/device list.

    NOTE: The above link uses an Xbox 360 controller with Windows 10. You may find the same or similar settings for the Xbox One controller.

    Xbox 360 controller too sensitive

    The Xbox 360 controller is not customisable like the Xbox One controller is. You cannot change it's sensitivity. Your best bet is to calibrate it as DominumStige said.

    one controller is a couple years old(the orginal one that came with the xbox) the other maybe a year. is there a way to calibrate the sticks? it happens on both controllers though.

    Not the permanant solution I was looking for.

    However, I did try using a PS4 controler and the calibration worked for that.

    not sure why it refuses to calibrate the Xbox controller.
