Cables and Extensions

Hi,

does anyone know if there are any HDMI Splitters that work for both Xbox One and PS4 ????

The reason I'm asking is because my TV only has 1 HDMI port and I recently bought a HDMI Splitter for £15 but it did not work at all!!!

Also what's the best External Hard Drive that you think I should get for the Xbox One ???

If you haven't guessed it already I suck with this kind of knowledge on this tech stuff haha!!

I bought a WD 2TB HD from currys for £69 and it just sits behind the X1. Easy to set up, just plug it in and once its found go to the memory tab in settings to reformat it to save games on and you never have to touch it again. Just make sure its USB 3 when
you buy one if you want to save games on it.

For me, this whole idea of using a non-standard connector at the back for Kinect is really bad. Xbox designers may defend it by saying that they do not want to take the risk of compatibility issues, but all it shows is lack of consideration for Xbox users.
This may appear to be insignificant to a marketing decision maker, but this is the kind of thing that allows the competition to gain a little headway. Several of my friends already own the Xbox 360, but they have no plans to move on to Xbox One because of
compatibility issues. At least now the Xbox One can run Xbox 360 games, but with regards to Kinect, my friends are still not convinced. They paid for their old Kinect dearly and would like to be able to use it for the Xbox One.

I haven't heard of one yet. I'm very surprised this issue hasn't been sorted yet. With the Kinect now on the back burner I wouldn't expect it to get resolved.

Looks like that is not available in the US. I too really need an extension. Utilizing a projector as well.
