Cable Receiver isn't recognized

    Cable Receiver isn't recognized


    Hi folks,

    I got my X1 at launch and connected my cable receiver "Smart CX70 DVR" via HDMI with my X1. Watching TV works fine, but my X! doesn't even recognize my receiver.

    Just the "TV" and "Audio Receiver"-options are listed, but nothing like "cable receiver", "video receiver" or "set top box".

    Can anyone help me? Is it not recognized, because the receiver isn't supported yet?

    New ethernet cable not working/possible incompatible ethernet cable

    I did receive that error message. Also, when I connect my computer with the ethernet cable, the internet does not connect. Again, the ethernet cable is not recognized by my device.

    Xbox one controller windows 10 (WIRED)

    Xbox one controller isn't being recognized wired. I plug it in and it vibrates, but there's no sign of drivers and the device isn't being recognized in xbox accessories.

    Nothing happens with this codes. Like I said before, I don't have the opportunity to choose a cable receiver - just TV and Audioreceiver.

    1. Make & Model of STB (cable/sat box)

    2. TV Provider

    3. Layout (example: STB HDMI Xbox One HDMI TV) (please note splitters and hubs).

    1) Smart CX 70 DVR (HDMI cable receiver, manufactured in Germany)

    Here is an english product information:

    2) Primacom (I'm from Germany)

    3) There are no splitters or hubs. My cable box is plugged into the HDMI-slot from my X1, and the X1 is plugged via HDMI into my TV.

    Cable Receiver isn't recognized

    The option may not be available in Germany as of yet for the STB. If so the Settings > TV & OneGuide > Devices (It should say Cable/Sat, if it doesn't then it is a region exception at the moment).

    No it doesn't. Xbox hard drives are not meant to be read by a PC and the transfer cable is not intended to be used in that manner. If your Xbox isn't recognizing the drive then you will need to return it.
