    Cable box re-start


    After the July update, I have noticed when I turn my TV off, come back and turn it back on, I get the message "we have lost connection to your device" (cable box). I have to turn off the cable and turn it back on. Not a big deal but never had to do this
    before the update.

    Start xbox and launch TV full screen

    Hello,

    I connect my cable box on the xbox and it works well. I was just wondering if I can set-up the xbox so each time I start it will open the TV in full screen mode?

    80% of the time I start the tv is to watch cable and I don't want to spend more time on asking "Xbox watch TV".

    If not possible I will re-connect the cable box directly on my TV and use xbox only to play games.

    New feature: HDMI in?

    I'm pretty sure its the port for the cable box to plugin to your Xbox One console. As they said in the briefing stream, they're partnering with cable companies, not taking them over or forming anything of there own. They will allow the Xbox One console to work with existing cable boxes. So, in order for that to be possible, you need an HDMI in port.

  4. Cable box re-start

    Hey king, before you turn the box off to reset it wait a couple of minutes. I get the same message myself but then it comes back on. Also instead of unplugging the box try quitting the tv app the restarting the app again.
