    Hey everyone,

    wanted to know if anyone else is having the same problem. Prior to the April update I was getting 5.1 surround through the cable box etc. After the update I'm only getting 2.0 stereo sound. My setup is all through HDMI and is sent through my receiver.
    When I plugged the cable box into it's own HDMI port the 5.1 came back. The same problem is happening w/ Netflix but when I play a blu ray on the xbox it works fine.. what happened?!?

    No longer getting Surround sound when watching TV through XBO

    It appears so.. I just noticed it today.. ridiculous!!! My setup was fine until they had to go f around w/ it..

    Xbox is pretty proud of the stereo sound. Just look at those awesome stereo headphones. Lol. My old onkyo receiver told me exactly what was being sent through it but my new Sony receiver does not. I have not been impressed by the surround sound so maybe

    I am, since this update everything has been f'd up.. I'm ready to throw the damn thing out the window. I had no problems before the update, I guess now i'm feeling the sting of the peeps that didn't have everything run thru HDMI in the beginning..

    Live TV not working

    Mine was working fine until the april update now it requires a full reboot of both the xbox and the cable box at which point it will work. After enough time though it goes back to not working at all.
