I get this error code when I try to stream a specific movie. Support says it's not a supported file on my XBOX 360, yet the Microsoft Movies and TV store says it is. Why the two need to talk together about these things, and make sure that supported movies
are correctly shown. If I can't watch it on my 360, why bother putting it there for me to see with the claim it is very much supported.

They want to give me a refund. 3-5 days to get my money back.

I want to watch a movie.

If I get one more problem from Microsoft or XBOX with any of there products again, then I buy a DVD player and all my money goes to someone else. (previously owned XBOX One, never making that mistake again)

    :)

    error code 69c00d36d4

HERE is a list of all the play back error codes and the meaning to them.

Did you retype to error code correctly? I'm not seeing 69c00d36d4 as a listed error.

Was the code maybe 69-C00D36C4 or 69-C00D36B4?

I'm gonna put my detective hat on and ask if you were trying to watch an anime show maybe?

From my own experience these files tend to come in the MKV format which unfortunately is not a supported extension.

    XBOX VIDEO STREAMING CODEC PROBLEMS

    Hey Radical,

So, I've tried the three files in the .rar file that you had packaged. Here's my results:

Windows Media Player : All 3 played

Zune PC Software : 1st video played, other 2 gave errors C00D11199

Xbox 360 : 1st video played, other two gave errors (69-C00D36B4) (80-C00DF242) respectively.

As those error codes suggest, those files are not compatible with the players that gave the errors. Where did you get the files from? Was there any DRM attached? Can you convert them to compatible file types for watching on your Xbox 360?

Also, how are you getting the files to your Xbox 360? Are you streaming them from Windows Media Player or the Zune Client? Are you using a USB flash drive?

Any specific information that you can offer may help us help you out more, but as of now, those files are not compatible with the Xbox 360 media codecs.

Hope the info helps. We'll be here waiting when you have more info that you can share with us.

    Thanks.
