    You will want to reformat the 4GB flash storage at this point. Note that this will erase everything on your hard drive, so if there is any data you want to keep, I would move your data to a USB flash drive. Once you verify that everything you need
    is copied off or safe, follow the steps below to format:

    1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.
    2. Select Storage or Memory.
    3. Select the storage device that you want to format, and then press Y on your controller.
    4. Select Format. You will see the following message:

      This will delete all content on this device. Do you wish to continue?
    5. Select Yes to format the storage device.
    6. If prompted to enter your console serial number, do so, and then select Done. This step helps guard against accidental formatting.
    If the issue persists after reformatting the 4GB flash storage, you will likely need to repair your Xbox 360 console. To begin that repair process, visit our Online Service center.
