    Bypassing Family Timer

There is a similar issue posted here, but I am reporting something that may be altogether different. Hopefully this thread wont devolve into users bashing each other and Microsoft and may result in a fix. My six year old boy accidentally figured this out
when his 15 minutes of Minecraft was up.

    Steps to reproduce:

    1) Use a controller (wireless in our case) with a chat keyboard accessory attached.

    2) Log in to an account on the XBOX that is not an XBOX live account.

    3) Wait for the timer to expire.

    4) Press the chat button (the one with two people silhouettes)

    5) Press the "<--bksp" button 3 or 4 times.

    6) Timer is now suspended

Please let me know if you need more info.

    :)

When you log in, turn off the Content Controls, thereby bypassing the Family Timer.

    Bypassing help.

It's basically just like opening a door. Sometimes it takes a little longer since it is a "hidden loading screen."

    Hey there

    Welcome to the forums

I have sent a link to this thread to one of the support agents for this forum in a Private Message. They should be able to escalate or assist you further with this glitch you have. If you have any/ or have found any videos on how to do this, I would strongly
recommend sending them to the support agent when they arrive in this thread. Meanwhile I will do a little digging online and see if I can find anything on how to bypass the family settings timer, and then pass them onto the Support Agents so they have more
evidence for their investigation into this issue.

I am sorry I can not assist further, and will keep poking or messaging one of the Agents to Attend this thread.

    Regards,
