    So Microsoft recently announced that the requirement of Xbox Live Gold was being removed for Free to Play Games but I wanted to know when it'll be implemented.

    games for gold = free see above and you have already paid the tax on the gold purchase

    Yes, that’s possible because live gold is not required for F2P games.
    Besides that Live Gold is a requirement

    All games should be free

    There are plenty of F2P games available on xbox live and then theres the 4 free games every user who has xbox live gold gets per month.

    There will never be a time where every game is free as each company would simply go bust very quickly.

    Playing online has never been free. Even if you play F2P games like Apex Legends, you will need a paid subscription (Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate)
