    hi everyone , i just had to leave here some feedback because if think this is a shame for microsoft and i never felt so disrespected in my life.

    a couple of months ago as a live rewards user i tried to neter the forza 7 sweepstakes but i had some kind of bug giving my information to enter it and by that i mean everytime i added my email adress i got the message it was already behing used , i tried
    a new one even made one to test and the error was the same so i went to the xbox support because it looked like a problem with my account .

    in that day all this mess started , after 2 hours in the support and everything checked they said ok in order to solve this you have to contact forza 7 foruns or forza twitter , in the mean time leave a mesage on the foruns in the promotions section they
    will help you .

    great i did all of that till this day after 7 months 0 awsers from the promotion foruns, 0 awsers from forza twitter and 1 awser from forza foruns insulting me .

    i went back to them at the beggining of october and said ok i want to make a complain agaist this situation i dont acept people insulting me plus no one awsered anything , i was told wait we will creat a case and send it to the rewards team and rangers too
    they have 72 hours to awser you please wait for the awser .

    after that time i went again to them to ask why there was no awser and the agent closed the chat just like that in my face , i reported the situation but the promotion ended without me getting any awser.

    i went there one more time and said why do you take so many time to awser a simple problem and the awser was go ask rewards team to awser why this didnt got any awser and i did that , surprise , they never got a single contact from microosft support and
    told me that since i didnt contact them while the promotion was on the support eeded to compensate for the mistakes they made.

    i went back again asking questions and the compensation for all the mess they created , after like 5 months the case was finally sent to the legal department wich awsered me with 2 things .

    first you could have the right to be compensated but since you contacted a lot of times we will not do it ( very good and respectfull awser for sure)

    second , you had a person problem you had to travel to another country because of your mothers dead you wasnt able to enter the giveaway so no compensation because of it either ( great awser either specially because the sweepstakes say you have to be 18
    or + and be a legal resident of one of the 50 states not that you cant go to your mothers funeral , i dont have to be all the time in the country as long as i have a legal residence).

    to end this i created two public complains agaist microsoft in to different places microosft got contacted about both but didnt awser any of them so i got called by a lawyer of one of those places asking me if i want to act legally agaist and i said yes
    this as gone too far and he said ok we will be at your side agaist them but frist one last time try to reach microosft and make a deal there is no way abig company like that will not want to solve it the right way and one more time i contacted microsoft in
    all places no one can do or solve anything and who can doesnt awser so thank you microsoft for showing me how little this company when it comes to respect for the users and on assuming your own mistakes

    I am in the same boat. I used to go to 2old2play but haven't been there in a while and lost contact with most. HUPIT gaming is supposed to help match like minded players, but haven't had much luck so far.

    Xbox Support doesn't have anything to do with, or control over specific promotions

    - The support incidents that Xbox Support would create would only be relevant to an Xbox Support/Microsoft Account issue, nothing to do with promotions

    - The support incident would not have done anything for you here in the forums

    - Since the case was not relevant to any issues Xbox Support would have handled, they would have closed the case

    - Asking support for compensation from Xbox Support is again something they would not be able to do since it's not what they do in Xbox Support and they wouldn't have tools to do so

    - If you were not 18 or didn't meet the requirements then that would be another reason why you wouldn't qualify

    - Not sure about the loss of the family member but as cold as this sounds, hardships happen but are not allowances for exceptions for contests

    - As soon as you state you're contacting or in talks with a lawyer, Xbox Support cannot by policy help you further. Again, Xbox Support could not help you with the promotion at all

    There is a general Sales and Promotions forum that may have been more assistance to you by going back and choosing

    - Xbox Forums > Sales and Promotions > General Sales and Promotions > posting there would have been more suited for your issue

    As much as you hate Xbox Support for not doing what you wanted or demanded, they were never at any point in time ever responsible with promotions or contests. At best, they can try and point you in the right direction.

    Xbox Support is there to help troubleshoot Accounts, Billing, Xbox hardware, software and basic networking issues

    From the best of my knowledge which please don't quote me on this I may be incorrect as I have not read the rules and terms for post in the Forza 7 Giveaway.

    Usually the reaction is to have you Email, Call or Open a Chat Support with Forza 7 teams or publisher involved in this case being both (Turn 10 and Microsoft Studios) I'm not 100% sure on how Both or Either Company may go about this. And I know it may not

  6. ok so let me explain this again so we are all in the same page.

    i dint ask any compensation from the xbox support and asked them to send the case to who can give me the said compensation as i was told by the rewards team.

    the support couldnt solve the problem ith the live rewards on that you are right but as the rewards team stated too they only had one option and that was send me exactly to their forum to solve the problem and only them could do it , the forza team couldnt
    do anything because only the rewarss team can solve problem with their giveaways.

    the problem with the support is something very easy to understand , i went there because i thought the problem was with my account not anything with the rewards and they gave me wrong information after wrong information , i contacted them day one of the
    giveaway and after one month no one solved the problem not only that but the worse was the fact that i was told very clearly that the case was sent to the rewards team and rangers and i have proofs of that and because of it i never went running to the rewards
    foruns i waited for the awser as asked.

    after the promotion ended i went back asking awsers because the case was open for 20 days without awsers , the awsers i got was to go ask the rewards team why i didnt got them and when i did it they said they never got anything from me you can see what
    they said on my last contact "Since you never registered into this sweepstakes or attempted to reach out to us prior to the sweepstakes ending, we cannot adjust your sweepstakes status" this came from someone that i was told was dealing with my case.

    my mothers dead isnt a reason for me to have more or less things than any other person that is a costumer but there is one thing they should have done instead of using her dead and that would be respect me , the excuse about my mothers dead is ridiculous
    , there is nothing saying a person haves to stay in the country during all the sweepstakes you need to have more than 18 and a legal residence in the united states not be there 360 days and i have all of that the proof is that i tried to enter the play a thon
    sweepstakes and i was in it without any problem so even the second excuse was pathetic because yes i was able to enter always was if not that bug with the emails.

    about the sale and promotions foruns , i contacted them 2 times one back in october other in december i think and you know what ? zero awsers as you can check if you want .

    the legal department from usa as contacted in october you know how many awsers ? zero awsers .

    turn 10 was contacted by their help email and the case exposed twice you know how many awsers ? zero ?

    i went to the xbox support to get help not to get insulted , lied and disrespected .

    i talked with the legal department because i thought microosft was a big company with respect for me but when you start a conversation with "you could have deserved a compensation but since you contacted us a lot of times you dont get it ? it says a lot
    about he company.

    you want to know what happened instead of this behing solved ? my 13 years old brother xbox one got banned from live not because he is a bad person or did any mistake but because he had my account on his xbox to play my games and to microsoft contacting
    them asking awsers is some kind of crime , playing with his friends was one of the things that helped him be a little better after my mothers dead so one more time microosft doesnt want to know the mistakes their workers do what is important is to prevent
    a 13 years old kid from playing and clear his mind of a bad momment.

    and all of this is what made me go make the public complains agaist microsoft , its unreal that almost every company awsers the complains but the almighty microsoft after one month didnt awsered one wich made the lawyer contact me .

    i dont want or need to go to a court with microsoft and wast a year or two on this that is why i acepted to try to reach the said agreement and as of this momment there is not a legal thing agaist microsoft until at least i get all the awsers after that
    if microosft still acts like god almight yes there ill be and the costumer company will be at my side with lawyers on this so microsoft pays and respects me and learns to respect everyone else either

    The forums here are mainly for troubleshooting. No one here can or could address any of the issues you've posted.

    What I state below is from relevant information that I am familiar with. And it will appear harsh but I or anyone else can state their opinion as well.

    - Xbox Support can only manage their cases. They can't create a case for another group or department.

    - Xbox Rewards has their own support

    - Specific promotions will also have their own support

    - Again, as you experienced, Xbox Support was not familiar with or able to point you in the right direction for a promotion that they have not direction or support resources for

    - If you were in contact with Xbox Support, their support Rangers would only be able to handle Xbox Support issues. Not Forza Promo issues.

    - I don't understand the relevance of your parents death unless she had something to do with a parent account. If you were not 18 when you tried to enter the contest then this whole discussion is irrelevant. You cannot enter into a contest under the age of
    18.

    - That forum group is different than the forum group here. If they choose to respond or not, it's up to them.

    - The legal department, in all cases that I have ever been aware of would never contact you directly. They would contact the attorney whom you would have had to hire to represent you. And after your attorney has presented documentation of your case to Microsoft.

    - And all of this over a Forza promotion?! I'm sorry but this just does not seem possible

    - This will happen. You can't speak to what did or did not happen. The Xbox Enforcement Team has the ability to review the communication and details of what occurred. And if it's bad enough, they will permantly suspend the account.

    - Here is the legal process that Microsoft has spelled out. What you state seems to deviate from what the Microsoft Legal Team does or will do.

    first you are defending the support team wich i understand but their information about live sweepstakes is to send people to the rewards support wich they didnt .

    second they cant say the rewards team and rangers are taking care of the case already when they never sent it or cant send but there are proofs of what they said .

    third im older than 18 and my mothers dead have nothing to do with this or is irrelevant the only reason i talked about it was because it was their awser .

    anymore time and patience over this , things are on the microsoft side now and is microsoft ignoring everything not me

    - I'm not defending Xbox Support. I'm stating that they couldn't help you with something that is not within their ability to manage and control. And any and all information they provided you, however inaccurate, was information that they would give you
    to the best of their knowledge and ability.

    - The Xbox Rewards group is separate from Xbox Support and Xbox Support can't do anything on your behalf or communicate with Xbox Rewards

    - As you have run into based on your statements, you didn't get anywhere with Xbox Support because that couldn't have been any help other than to point you to the Xbox Rewards site

    - The rewards and promotions offered are rarely of anything of significant in value.

    - For an attorney to get involved in most small things you're looking at roughly a cost $2000 for fees and such and the attorney wouldn't try and go after a defendant for something of less than $1000 in value. And if anything, this would all end up in a
    small claims court where the judgement is made by the judge right then and there.

    - In my opinion, there's nothing of value to justify an attorneys time

    - This is your story, your statements. I'm posting my response with an understanding that Xbox Support didn't clarify where to direct you for the assistance you needed. It's unfortunate they didn't point you in the right direction.

    - Xbox Support helps thousands of people each day but there are many that call Xbox Support for issues out of their control. And blame Xbox Support / Microsoft for not helping them, when they can't help the customer with their issue.

    - no one ever will. These forums are users helping users. This is not Xbox Support. No one here can see, view or access your account information

    - Since you're pursuing legal action and you've stated you've spoken with attorneys, Xbox Support is not supposed to assist you further once you state you're seeking legal action

    - Any "contract" that you agreed to is under Microsoft's Terms of use and those terms are what you're bound too

    - Ultimately, you missed out on a Forza promotion. You're not going to get anything further from Xbox Support and the only ones that could be of assistance would have been the Xbox Rewards group. You're not going to see any support for your issue from here

    if i went the legal was exactly because did nothing to solve the problem they created nd by doing what they did the option rewards team was automatically out for the reasons i said.

    im not any expert on anything neither want to be but one thing i know disrespect , lies and imcompetence isnt aceptable no matter teh company or place.

    i acept and will always acept mistakes because no one is perfect but when you put mistake after mistake and disrespect the other part of the problem things change and even the legal awser was disrespectful is as easy as that

    As much as you continue to try and hold Xbox Support "accountable" it was never at any point before, during or after, their responsibility for your situation. They provided you the information the best they could with what they had available.

    Insisting that Xbox Support is there to lie to you, just make the whole conversation just an opinion.

    The support for your issue with the promotion and rewards items was only ever available in the Rewards forums. Of which, you're posting here the the Support forums which distances your issue further from any meaningful process to educate others.
