Buzzing sound whilst playing games on XBOX One S

Firstly I apologise if this has been asked previously, I can't seem to find a search function on this forum?!?!

I have had the Xbox One S since they first came out and I noticed early on that whilst playing Gigantic I would get a loud buzzing/humming noise, exiting out of the game stopped this, and so I just thought it was a problem with the game.

Now I have moved to PC gaming and my kids have started gaming, but I have noticed that noise is still happening, now with a lot more games.

I have done resets to the console, changed audio settings and tried everything...is this a known issue and is there a fix for it?

P.S. I don't really use discs, and all the games that this has happened on are digital games (Roblox etc)

Xbox One Buzzes while installing game

The Xbox One console works well, BUT when I insert a game disc, it creates a buzzing sound while installing it. The buzzing is quite loud. It does NOT buzz when playing a bluray. It also does not buzz after the game (BF4) is installed and playing.

If I apply light pressure to the top of the XBox, the buzzing stops.

Should I take back to Best Buy where I bought it?

 

Final Fantasy 15 No sound

I bought Final Fantasy today and updated/installed it on Xbox one S

But there's no sound while playing.

Xbox sound works except in game sound don't work.

Any help ?

All my settings are good except just no sound on final Fantasy 15

 

If this doesn't happen with a disc in the console it could be a fan issue - and if that's the case you might need a repair. It could also be a power supply fan as well.

Fans go louder as the load on the console is increased, and games usually do that. The fans blow harder to cool the console down. The fan could be damaged or have a bad ball bearing.

 

I have run some further tests ans can confirm that;

a) the noise is coming through the TV speaker

b) it is the xbox causing the sound

c) there is no audible sound coming out of the xbox itself

d) i have changed the tv and the buzzing still occurs

would this be a sound card issue?

I have had this buzzing intermittently occurring since the console was brand new, at the time i was testing a game in development (which initially was the only time it would make the noise) so put it down to a poorly optimised game.

At a loss of what to do now? I am obviously out of warranty but now it is happening more regularly.
