Buzzing noise from power pack!

I just received my new xbox one console today and the power pack is making an audible buzzing sound not only that but the "kettle" lead, thats attached to the plug, seems very lose. No matter how hard I try to fit it, it still wiggles up and down. Is this
normal? I've read that consoles that were released at the start had these problems and the only way to resolve the buzzing sound when used with the fast start mode was to switch the mode off!! What is going on? I have asked friends and they say they are not
having these problems at all so do I have a faulty power pack??

Sorry scratch that, the buzzing noise is coming from the insert in which the power block goes into.

Xbox Buzzing when no disc is in tray

Hey there Blue! Is the buzzing noise coming from the console, or the power adapter? Can you try a different power outlet?

im returning mine. Mine when on makes a sound like there's a wire touching the fan. when i turn it off it makes a whine noise. It's off! Piece o crap. Like coil whine.

I hear a loud buzzing noise too, yet it is not coming from the Xbox 360. I thought it was, but it was not. It is coming from the power supply.

What do you mean by "buzzing sound"?

Is it a buzzing noise coming from your laptop's cooling fans (or other components)? Or is it a buzzing noise from the Xbox gameplay stream?
