    Hi,

    I am unable to buy a backward compatible game to my xbox one s.

    I was informed that i can only buy it on xbox 360. I dont have xbox 360. Is there is any alternate solution to this.

    Game: The Witcher 2

    game is available in my region

    Everytime i try to purchase " something went wrong...." appears.

    Yes, if you purchase the game from the Xbox 360 marketplace, you can play it on the Xbox 360, Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S.

    As for what Hardcore Games said, you can still buy Xbox games for the Xbox 360, and play them on the Xbox 360, and if they are backward compatible, play them on the Xbox One & Xbox Series X|S.

    You cant buy xbox 360 games on xbox one s the uniqe way to play it is to have the disc of your game and to check if it is compatible with your xbox

    Perhaps they're encouraging us to run out and stock up on XBox 360's while we still can? With my investment in XBox 360 games, I'm certainly going to buy a spare 360 or two before I ever consider buying an XBox One.
