Buying XBOX 360 game via XBOX store fails due to wrong location setting

Hi,

I have an XBOX One and I'm trying to buy an XBOX 360 game (Monkey Island 2: SE)
via the XBOX store, but it fails due to a wrong location setting. At the moment when I click in this page on the "Spiel kaufen" (purchase game) button the language switches to Czech and as far I understand the purchase is not possible because there are no
payment methods for the Czech Republic registered in my account.

When I set up my XBox One and the Microsoft account for the first time a wrong language was selected (Czech). I afterwards changed the language in the XBox One Settings -> System -> Language and Location. The new settings are:

System Language: English

System Language Region: English (United States)

System Location: Germany

Then I restarted the XBox One.

The new language settings were accepted, but not in all of the XBox Store. Purchasing XBox One games (like Thimbleweed Park) works, however when I try to purchase XBox 360 games (e.g. Monkey Island 2 SE) I can't pay because it switches back to Czech and
there is no payment method registered that works with the Czech Republic.

I logged in into my Microsoft account via a browser and found that the location was still wrong under
https://account.microsoft.com/profile/ -> Edit your personal info. I changed the location to Germany here too, but this didn't fix the problem.

Basically the language/location is correct until the XBox Store navigates me to the live.xbox.com domain. E.g.

http://live.xbox.com/Account/BillingAccountInformation (which is mentioned on

Přihlaste se k účtu Microsoft and is in Czech. I noticed that in the footer of the page I'm supposed to be able to change the language by clicking on
'Čeština (Česká republika)‎' link next to the world icon. However after selecting a different language/location (German/Germany) it still brings me back to the Czech page (Přihlaste se k účtu Microsoft).
Manually editing the URL to
https://live.xbox.com/de-DE/account/billingaccountinformation also doesn't work and brings me again back to the Czech page.

Please let me know how where else I must change the location so that I can buy XBOX 360 games.

Cannot purchase backwards compatible

i am attempting to buy an Xbox 360 game via my Xbox one s, through the Xbox live store. I have 2 good credit cards on file, my location settings are accurate as well. When attempting to purchase it says "sorry, you can not purchase cannot be completed, please
try again" what is this issue?

 

Can't download 360 games on my One account

It's not anything that would have been wrong setting up his account, but due to child restrictions, he would need to download the games via a 360 console.

I think I was on that page before but didn't continue since it was in Czech and I don't understand Czech. But finding the right buttons to click was not that difficult.
